Are you an “amateur” kielbasa maker with a special family recipe? Does everyone tell you your kielbasa is absolutely delicious? If so, you
should consider entering this year’s Kielbasa Cook-Off.

The Polish-American Community of Toledo (PACT) who sponsors this very popular event, is looking for contestants to compete in the 10 th Annual Kielbasa Cook-Off. This year’s Cook-Off will be held on Sunday, February 27th, 2022, from 1 to 6 PM at the St. Clement’s Hall, 2990 Tremainsville Road in Toledo.

The goal for this event is to find the area’s best home-made kielbasa. The Cook-Off which is open to the public, features amateur kielbasa makers from all over the area. The hundreds of people who attend this event, sample each of the contestant’s kielbasa and then vote for their favorites. The winner is then awarded the title of Toledo’s “Kielbasa King, or Queen.

The top 3 finishers receive cash awards, trophies and bragging rights as well as plenty of recognition from the media and public.

Commercial markets do not participate in this event.

Money raised from the Kielbasa Cook-Off goes toward PACT’s Capital Campaign to help fund the development of a Polish Community Center in the Toledo area and to our annual scholarships.

Entries into the Cook-Off are limited so if you are an amateur kielbasa maker and are interested in participating or would simply like more information, contact PACT at info@polishcommunity.org.
