Wigilia Celebration to be Held on Sunday, December 16, 2018

This year’s Wigilia Celebration will be held on Sunday, December 16, 2018.  The celebration will begin at 5:30 pm at Olivet Lutheran Church , 5840 Monroe Street in the Christian Life Center. A video explaining Wigilia will be  shown and participants can share in their memories of Polish Christmas eve at this time.  Afterwards, a meatless meal will be served with singing of Kolendy (Christmas carols).  Come and join us for this most sacred Polish celebration and renew the true meaning of Christmas without the stress of the season.  See…

      Brooke Scally will be entering Bowling Green State University this fall majoring in Early Childhood Education. Brooke was on Central Catholic High School’s Woman’s Tennis Team, the honor roll for 4 years, and a 4 year member of the Glee Club (with the lead role in 2 musicals). She was also a student government representative. Polish-American Community of Toledo (PACT) and Toledo Poznan Alliance (TPA) Annual Scholarship Competition ends May 31, 2018   The Polish-American Community of Toledo (PACT) and the Toledo Poznan Alliance (TPA) have announced that their Annual Scholarship Competition to award $4,000 to area Polish-American students is currently underway. Over the past seven years over $20,000 in scholarship money has been awarded to students of Polish-American heritage in the Toledo area.
