Presentation by:
Ed Zawadski, author of the book “Poles in the New World.”
Ed Zawadski is a journalist and sports broadcaster located out of Toronto, Canada. In late 2010 he released a book titled “Poles in the New World” a look at the lives and contributions of 50 Poles in North America. He wrote the book solely out of love for his Polish heritage and the fact that many young people of Polish ancestry have lost interest in Polish culture and language. The purpose of the book is to educate people (especially young Poles) on the rich and diverse culture and history that Poles have given to North American Society. Ed’s presentation will be followed by a Q and A session and a book signing.
Ed Zawadski’s book and presentation is consistent with PACT’s mission to further the image of our Polish heritage and local Polonia and we are proud to introduce him to Toledo.
Dinner and presentation: $12.00 PACT members; $15.00 Non-Members
