DAVID YONKE SCHEDULED TO SPEAK ON SEPTEMBER 30TH, 2009

The Fr. Robinson Murder Trial

As many people know, last month PACT brought in Denise (she asked us not to use her last name) to Ski’s Restaurant as part of PACT’s lecture series.  She gave her thoughts on how the jury came to a guilty decision in the Fr. Robinson murder trial in 2006.

Now, Pact will provide an in-depth look at the murder trial by welcoming David Yonke to give what is sure to be a fascinating presentation on the trial.   On Wednesday, September 30th, Mr. Yonke will discuss his views and the facts of the Fr. Robinson trial.  His presentation will start at 7:15 P.M.

Mr. Yonke has been a reporter and editor for 30 years.  He is currently the Religion editor at the Toledo Bl.ade.  Mr. Yonke was the first person to break the story that police believed that Fr. Robinson killed Sister Margaret Ann Pahl in a ritual murder.

He followed the trial closely and eventually wrote a book about the murder trial that fascinated the entire country.   His book, Sin, Shame and Secrets; The Murder of a Nun, the Conviction of a Priest, and Cover-Up in the Catholic Church was published in 2006.  It can be purchased at local bookstores.

If you would like to hear Mr. Yonke’s captivating talk, please call Ski’s restaurant at 419-882-1199 to make your reservation now.  There will be a $2.00 charge for the presentation; PACT members will be admitted free.
